CiteRight gives you the option of changing the default hyperlinks for your cases, by inputting any valid hyperlink. This is especially useful, for example, when you download a case from Westlaw or Quicklaw but want to include a hyperlink to the CanLII version.
Changing your hyperlinks
- Select the case for which you would like to change the hyperlink. Once you click the case, the preview pane will open and display the case text
- In the preview pane, click the Modify button
- Find the source hyperlink field. It will be populated with the default source hyperlink. Remove and/or replace with the new hyperlink. Click Save.
Once you save, the hyperlink for that reference will be updated throughout your document.
